Maltese Falcon: This portion of the Capitol Classics Film Series features the 1941 Humphrey Bogart crime/mystery The Maltese Falcon at 7:30 p.m. at Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St., Clearwater. $6.

Helios Jazz Orchestra with Margo Rey: The 18-piece jazz orchestra performs swingin' big band dance music tonight with singer-songwriter Margo Rey. Her new single Let The Rain, co-written with John Oates from Hall and Oates, has zoomed to No. 17 on the Billboard adult contemporary chart. Full bar and catered appetizers and desserts available. It's 7 p.m. at NOVA 535 Art Lounge, 535 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. N, St. Petersburg. $15.

The London Souls: The New York City based threesome may be young guys in their 20s, but they channel the classic rock and funk sounds of the '70s, at 8 p.m. at Crowbar in Tampa. $8.

International Festival: Reminiscent of EPCOT, more than 150 student groups and organizations will staff table booths representing various countries and cultures. With ethnic food tastings, as well as numerous live multicultural music and dance performances by USF students, it runs 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza just south of the Marshall Student Center on the Tampa campus, 4202 E Fowler Ave., Tampa. Free.

Night Hike: Get a close look at some of the creepy crawlies that come out after dusk at 6 p.m. at Boyd Hill Nature Preserve, 1101 Country Club Way S, St. Petersburg. $3, $1.50 children, reservations required. (727) 893-7326.

AFI Master Class, 8 p.m., TCM: The network and the American Film Institute are starting a quarterly series on film artists. This first one is about Steven Spielberg and composer John Williams, who combined have worked on something like 75 percent of all movies ever made.

Series premiere, Knights of Mayhem, 9 p.m., NatGeo: A five-part series about the oddballs who take part in full-contact, heavy armored jousting, just like the knights of old.
