Let's hear it for Joe: Centennial Opera Group will continue "VIVA GIUSEPPE, The Life and Operas of Verdi," at 12:30 p.m. today at Centennial Library, 5740 Moog Road, Holiday. The program features an illustrated video lecture by Robert Greenberg on Act 2 of Verdi's comedy Falstaff, followed by a showing of Act 2 by the Vienna State Opera. Free.

Singing at sunset: JoDell and her country band will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Beach in Tarpon Springs. The show is one of 10 concerts held February through November by Friends of Music on the Beach, the city of Tarpon Springs and corporate sponsors. Bring chairs or blankets, a picnic, or buy snacks at the refreshment wagon. Free. No pets or alcohol.
