The Fabulous Rockaways: 7 p.m. Saturday at the Center for the Arts at Wesley Chapel, 30651 Wells Road. The benefit concert, presented by WeCats Corp., highlights music of the Beatles and Rock'n Blues. Proceeds benefit WeCats' feral cat TNR (trap/neuter/return) effort and responsible adoption programs. Tickets are $10-$15 at or for cash only at the door.

Art offerings

Art by Dr. Seuss: The works of Theodor Seuss Geisel, also known as Dr. Seuss, are on display through Thursday in the Pasco-Hernando Community College art gallery in the Pottberg Library building, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. (727) 816-3231.

"Dreams on the Way to Tomorrow": A collection of work by an artist known as "jacabo," will be on display in an exhibit called "Your Wildest Dreams and Beyond" at the Progress Energy Art Gallery, 6231 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. The art aims to give texture and form to what is otherwise is intangible: memories, feelings and dreams. An opening reception is from 6-9 p.m. April 6 at the gallery. Refreshments will be served. Spring Bluegrass Festival: The annual fest at the Sertoma Youth Ranch runs from today through Sunday in Brooksville (south of Spring Lake on Myers Road, near the Hernando-Pasco county line). Featured entertainment includes Gibson Brothers plus the Roys, David Peterson and 1946, Town Mountain and others. Performances are from noon to 11 p.m. today, 1 to 11 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Daily adult gate admission is $30 today, $35 Saturday and $15 Sunday. Weekend tickets are $65 at the gate; $20 for children ages 13 to 18. Those under 12 get in free with an adult admission. Camping is available with weekend tickets. Call (352) 754-3082.

Heart of Florida Celtic Festival and Highland Games: The 12th annual event is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Pioneer Florida Museum and Village, 15602 Pioneer Road, Dade City. Features Celtic music, dancing, athletics, Scottish, Irish and Welsh foods and crafts and the Massed Pipes & Drums. Admission is $10; free for 12 and under.
