. First Night St. Petersburg Celebration
St. Petersburg rings in the New Year with music, lights, dance, fire, bubbles, stories and fireworks at its annual celebration of the arts at multiple venues. There will be fireworks on the hour from 8-11 p.m. and then Fireworks Across the Bay at midnight. There will also be the Pier Aquarium Labyrinth at First Night and the kick-off to the St. Pete Waterfront Centennial Celebration with Discover History in the Parks. Participants can pick up a treasure map and locate five historic landmarks in North and South Straub parks. At the Pier, there will also be face painting (nominal charge), hat making and live performances.
