Some ripped into brightly wrapped presents with their teeth, while others built tents with all of the colorful paper.
But no, it wasn't the scene at your ill-mannered cousins' house last Christmas.
It was Lowry Park Zoo's annual Presents for Primates event Friday morning, where there were gifts for guenons, amusement for mandrills and cheer for colobus.
The presents were filled with treats and were meant to provide enrichment for the primates. Included in the packages were food treats, along with T-shirts and even socks for the animals to play with.
As you can see in the video, there probably won't be a need to save the receipts. We have a feeling that none of these gift recipients will want to take theirs back for a refund.
