Hoop City Today's the final day of the kid-friendly bash, part of the NCAA Women's Final Four. It runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Tampa Convention Center, 333 S Franklin St. Tickets are $8 for ages 12 and up, $6 for ages 3-11 and free for kids under 2. www.hoop-city.com.

Magic: The Science of Illusion MOSI's new exhibit doesn't mean to spoil the fun but it does look at the science behind visual illusion and the concepts at work in the magic. Interactive exhibits, artifacts and films show the psychology, physics, chemistry and math that go into the rabbit coming out of the hat. With that knowlege, you can try "The Amazing Living Head," or the "Light and Heavy Box," It runs through May 26 at MOSI, 4801 E Fowler Ave., Tampa, mosi.org.
