Hat Trick Theatre Productions presents the comedy The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) at Eleanor Dempsey Performing Arts Center, 13651 Hays Road, Hudson (Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School campus) weekends through July 18. Broadway 101: Everything You Wanted to Know About Broadway: The Musical will be shown at 7 p.m. July 17 at the New Port Richey Public Library, 5939 Main St. The audience is taken on a romp through the music of Broadway from the 1930s to the present. Art offerings

'Celebrate Life': Paintings by cancer survivors and caregivers will be exhibited through Saturday at Uptown Artist Gallery, 14449 Seventh St., Dade City. Gallery open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free.

Locals on display: Progress Energy Art Gallery Members' Show runs through July 31 at the gallery, 6231 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. Exhibit hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. Many of the pieces are $30 to $2,000.

Campus talent: Artwork by the Pasco-Hernando Community College's faculty and staff members will be exhibited through Aug. 5 at the gallery in the Pottberg Library on the PHCC West Campus, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. Photography, clay, charcoal, textiles, pencil drawings, acrylic and sculpture by 14 faculty and staff members will be in the exhibit. Hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays. Free.

Stepping out
