Things to do in Tampa Bay April 3

Common: One of the most talented poets in hip-hop, the parent-approved artist and frequent Kanye West collaborator hits Mirage, 3605 W Hillsborough Ave. in Tampa, with fellow Chicago resident and spoken word luminary Malik Yusef. The show is at 9 p.m. $20-$25. (813) 673-8835.

One Night of Queen: Get the next best thing to the late great Freddie Mercury with this British act, Gary Mullen & the Works. The show starts at 8 p.m. at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. $53, $42.50. (727) 791-7400.

Pawfest: Here's a carnival for kids and canines at Largo Central Park. There are games and contests for both, plus face painting and rides on the Largo Central Railroad for kids. It runs 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 101 Central Park Drive in Largo. Free.

Largo 50: This mini version of the Daytona 500 has scooter races, obstacle courses, hot dog and pie-eating contests and sack races at the Southwest Recreation Complex, 13120 Vonn Road, Largo. It runs from 10 a.m. to noon. Free.

Easter Bunny Dive: The weekend is hopping with Easter activities, but one of our favorites is at the Florida Aquarium, where the big guy will hop right into the water at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. today and Sunday. The best part: Save $5 on a child's admission with the purchase of an adult ticket. Admission is $19.95 ages 13 and older; $14.95 ages 12 and younger (before discount); $16.95 ages 60 and older. 30 for 30: The Guru of Go, 4 p.m., ABC Want to get pumped up for the Final Four tonight? Watch this documentary about former Loyola Marymount coach Paul Westhead and his star player, Hank Gathers, who died on the court. Wait, did we say "pumped up"? We meant "depressed."

The Ten Commandments, 7 p.m., ABC In case you're confused, this is the Charlton Heston movie without the apes.
