Taste of Fourth Street: Some of the most popular restaurants in St. Petersburg's main drag are bringing samples to taste at this midweek party under a huge tent as a fundraiser for the Children's Dream Fund. A $7 wrist band gets you tastes from Ciccios, Evo's and Tour de Pizza, among others. A silent auction (and goodie bags for the first 50 attendees) is from 6 to 10 p.m. in the parking lot at 2720 Fourth St. N.
Robert Wierzel: Arts fans get a treat today when this internationally known lighting designer (and 1980 USF graduate) gives a free talk at noon at Theatre 1 at University of South Florida, 4202 E Fowler Ave. He talks about his 20-year history in designing for the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company.
