Things to do in Tampa Bay for April 15

Rays Watch Party: Catch Rays away games on the beach at this family-friendly watch party with a giant screen set up on the sand. WDAE-AM 620 will broadcast live starting with their pregame show, and the Rays Street Team will be on hand with giveaways. Today's game against the Boston Red Sox starts at 1:35 p.m. at Tradewinds Island Grand Resort, 5500 Gulf Blvd., St. Pete Beach. Free admission, $10 parking on site. (727) 367-6461.

to watch

SERIES PREMIERE Girls, 10:30 p.m., HBO: Lena Dunham creates a show that sounds a lot like Friends without those dorky guys living across the hall or the creepy older brother. Except this one is produced by Judd Apatow, so it'll be funnier and way more crass (and have much more nudity).
