Sing-along Mary Poppins: You can sing Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious as loudly as you want (but can you sing it backward?) at the Mary Poppins sing-along at 3 p.m. today at Tampa Theatre. You get a prop goody bag, and those who dress up in Edwardian attire can go onstage for a costume parade. $12, $10 for members, kids, seniors and military. (813) 274-8982. tampatheatre.org.

Tampa comic book and toy convention: 85 tables of comics, videos, toys, action figures, anime, Star Wars memorabilia, artwork, trading cards and more. Guests include Greg Horn (Blackest Night: Wonder Woman) and Michael Golden (G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero). It's 10 a.m. at the Minnreg Building, 6340 126th Ave. N, Largo. $5 (12 and younger free). tampacomiccon vention.com.

KIDS AND FAMILY

Alligator walk: See the swamp kings in their natural habitat. Boyd Hill Nature Preserve is crawling with gators, and park rangers know all their favorite haunts. The hike is 11:30 a.m. at 1101 Country Club Way S, St. Petersburg. $3, $1.50 children. (727) 893-7326.

TO WATCH

Sunday Night Football, 8 p.m., NBC: That's right, football widows: All your husbands who are too impatient to watch baseball's pennant races heating up will drool over the first of dozens of pointless preseason contests, this one featuring the Cincinnati Bengals and the Dallas Cowboys.

SEASON PREMIERE, Hoarding: Buried Alive, 9 p.m., TLC: What is it with the fascination with this mental disorder? As if a culture based on buying useless stuff nonstop would produce anything different. There, we just saved you hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars in therapy trying to figure out what's behind the problem.

Baby Beauty Queens, 10 p.m., BBC America: It's so nice to see that the Brits have the same problems with weirdo parents treating their children like cult objects that we do here in America. We theorize it's possibly related to the hoarding phenomenon.
