Things to do in Tampa Bay for Dec. 15

Holiday parades: Tarpon Springs hosts its Christmas Parade with Shriners clowns and members on a variety of vehicles, plus floats and marching units. After the parade, there are activities at Craig Park including candy cane hunts and pictures with Santa. It's at 10 a.m. at the corners of S Pinellas Avenue and Mears Boulevard in Tarpon Springs. The Safety Harbor Holiday Parade features clowns, antique fire engines, high school marching bands and an appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus, starting at 1 p.m. along Main Street in Safety Harbor. Stephen Lynch: Whether he's singing an ode to tattoos or lamenting his new vegan lifestyle, comedian/musician Lynch blends his Americana/folk/alt-country tunes with musical-based comedy. Chocolate Nutcracker: This spin on Tchiakovsky's holiday classic begins during the Harlem Renaissance and journeys to Jazzland, Gospeland, Lank of Funk, Africa and Brazil to tell the story of a young girl named Claire who travels the world with her Nutcracker made of chocolate.
