Things to do in Tampa Bay for Dec. 2

St. Petersburg Power and Sailboat Show: The Mahaffey Theater Yacht Basin will be filled with hundreds of sail and power boats this weekend at 400 First St. S, St. Petersburg. $10 at gate, 15 and younger/military with ID free.

Rene Marie: Her style mixes jazz, soul, blues and gospel. Show is 8 p.m. at the Straz Center in Tampa. $33.50 and up.

XFC 15 Tribute: Nick Newell, the 25-year-old MMA fighter born without a left arm from the elbow down, makes his national TV debut on HDNet during this event at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa at 7 p.m. $15-$60.

Miracle on Cleveland Street: Some 12 tons of snow and two snow slides make a tropical snow storm on Clearwater's Cleveland Street at 5:30 p.m. Free.

Christmas Wonderland: Oldsmar also has snow. A giant snow slope, inflatables, Santa, pony rides and more at 6 p.m. at R.E. Olds Park. Free.

Holiday in the Park Winterfest: Pinellas Park welcomes Santa with Segway rides, hay ride tours of holiday lights, a candy cane factory and more today at 6 p.m. at the England Brothers Bandshell Park.

Tampa's Tree Lighting: It includes performances by Belinda Womack and the Late Night Brass Band, plus a viewing of Elf. Festivities start at 7 p.m. at Curtis Hixon Park in Tampa. Free.


SERIES RETURN America's Most Wanted. 9 p.m., Lifetime Fox canceled this series in June after 24 seasons, but Lifetime says they'll take John Walsh, thank you very much.
