Tampa's Downtown on Ice: Once the presents are open and you've had your fill of fruitcake, work off those holiday calories at the outdoor ice rink at Curtis Hixon Park. It's open 4-10 p.m. Each session includes skate rental for $10 at 600 N Ashley Drive.
New Granada Christmas Night Extravaganza: Seek refuge from the in-laws with indie bands Alexander and the Grapes, King of Spain and Alaskus at 8 p.m. at New World Brewery, 1313 E Eighth Ave., Ybor City. $8.
