Things to do in Tampa Bay for Dec. 4

Andrea Bocelli: The famed Italian tenor will feature music from his platinum-selling catalog at one of only six U.S. shows scheduled for 2011, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Pete Times Forum, 401 Channelside Drive, Tampa. $75-$350.

Janet Jackson: The singing-dancing-acting triple threat will perform an intimate show as she brings her Number Ones, Up Close and Personal World Tour to Tampa at 8 p.m. at Carol Morsani Hall at David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa. Tickets start at $59.50.

Play in the Snow Show with the Fray: This holiday-themed concert is headlined by Grammy-nominated indie rockers the Fray (How to Save a Life), indie six-piece Scars on 45 and New York City singer-songwriter and pianist Rachel Platten. Plus, Jannus Live will be transformed into a winter wonderland with holiday decor and snow at 6 p.m. at 16 Second St. N, St. Petersburg. Tickets start at $30.

Museum Tree Lighting: Carolers lead the lighting of the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum's tree in the Legacy Garden. The museum is also decorated with an array of Christmas trees, lights, black Santas and angels. It's 6:30 p.m. at 2240 Ninth Ave. S, St. Petersburg.
