Things to do in Tampa Bay for Jan. 23

Rock of Ages: This is the last day to catch the arena-rock infused musical set in 1987. It's a girl meets boy rock 'n' roll love story full of classics from Poison, Journey, Night Ranger, Styx, REO Speedwagon and Pat Benatar. The jukebox heroes take the stage at 2 and 7:30 p.m. at Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 N McMullen-Booth Road, Clearwater. Tickets start at $42. (727) 791-7400;

Orange Jam: Ready? Okay! We've got 1,200 cheerleaders and dancers from across the country in town. The pepped-up athletes will be competing for awards. Free for spectators, but $5 to park at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4802 U.S. 301 N, Tampa. Starts at 9 a.m.

Tampa Bay Home Show: Get a jump on your honey-do list with this free collection of more than 500 exhibits on home improvement and landscaping at Tropicana Field. There will also be live demonstrations and seminars. Runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free.

Chocolate Sunday: You can't have too much chocolate, right? This fest includes chocolate tastings, contests, chef demos, prizes and auctions from noon to 6 p.m. at Ruth Eckerd Hall. See prize-winning works by chocolatiers, confectioners, pastry chefs, mixologists, chocolate sculptors and other culinary artisans. It benefits Treats for Troops, March of Dimes, Abilities Foundation and the Children's Cancer Center. Tickets are $25 at the door, $10 ages 11 and younger. (727) 791-7400.
