Gasparilla: It's only the biggest party of the year. A Pirate Street Festival kicks off the day at 10 a.m. and runs all day near Curtis Hixon Park. Thousands will line the Tampa waterfront about 11:30 a.m. to watch the pirate-draped Jose Gasparilla ship sail into Hillsborough Bay.
