License To Thrill: Vocalists Denise Moore, Bryan Hughes and Andrea Manson join the 18-piece Helios Jazz Orchestra as they perform spy music from film and television. It's at 3 p.m. at Palladium Theater, 253 Fifth Ave. N, St. Petersburg. $15. (727) 341-4363.

97X Shindig with Chevelle: Alternative metal band Chevelle leads this 21-and-up concert in the courtyard with Not Tonight Josephine and Variance. Doors open at 6 p.m. at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg. Free, but you need a ticket to attend. (727) 565-0551.

Prelude to Pride: A Wizard of Oz: Dorothy and her friends stroll down the yellow brick road in this naughty adaptation of the Frank L. Baum classic. Proceeds from the Suncoast AIDS Theatre Project benefit local charities. It's at 7:30 p.m. at American Stage Theatre Company in St. Petersburg. Pay what you can at the door, $15 advance. Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band: The 13th incarnation of this band includes Todd Rundgren, Mark Rivera, drummer Gregg Bissonette and All-Starr newcomers Steve Lukather of Toto, and Gregg Rolie of Santana and Journey. Ringo will of course perform Beatles hits like Yellow Submarine, but you can also expect to hear Toto's Rosanna, Rundgren's Hello It's Me and others at 7:30 p.m. at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. $56-$153. Capitol Classics Family Movie Series: The Princess Bride: This series is designed to bring parents' favorite childhood movies to the big screen to share with their kids. Today's movie is the often-quoted '80s fairy tale comedy The Princess Bride. See it at 3 p.m. at Capitol Theatre, 405 Cleveland St., Clearwater. $5. (727) 791-7400.
