Happy Hour at American Stage Creative Clay Artists have created an art exhibit for this event inspired by American Stage's production of The Foreigner. There will be live music, a cash bar and light refreshments. Proceeds benefit Creative Clay and American Stage. It's at 5:30 p.m. at American Stage Theatre in St. Petersburg. Free.
Tampa Museum of Art exhibits Included in the museum's current exhibits is "Hundred Years, A Hundred Chairs," which creates a timeline of furniture design using 100 examples of chairs by architects, artists and design firms. No, you can't sit on them, though you can sit on chairs in the lobby that are copies of those in the exhibition. Muvico Free Summer Film Fest Shrek Forever After: Muvico's free movie series shows a family movie for free every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This week it's the tale of a beloved ogre who makes a shady deal with Rumpelstiltskin, turning his fairy tale world upside down. It's at local Muvico theaters at 10 a.m. Did we say free?
