Things to do in Tampa Bay for June 25

Millennium Dancesport Championships: The loudly enthusiastic Mary Murphy of So You Think You Can Dance fame takes the stage to receive a Hall of Fame Award tonight. Dancers continue their quest for $125,000 in cash and prizes at this ballroom dance competition, which starts at 8 a.m. at the Vinoy in St. Petersburg. $20-$125. (727) 954-8140.

Monsters of Sludge Rockfest: Local rock bands are raising funds for wildlife assistance and beach cleanup initiatives, and they're hoping to raise a ruckus in the process. The lineup consists of local classic rock favorites the Greg Billings Band and Pitbull Toddler, plus Sonic Erotica and Orange Hour. It's at 7 p.m. at Jannus Live, 16 Second St. N, St. Petersburg. $10 minimum donation.

Michael Jackson Party: The Hard Rock is paying tribute to the King of Pop with a party until the sun comes up. The first 100 get a free Michael Jackson Tribute DVD mix at 11 p.m. at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, 5223 N Orient Road, Tampa. $20.

A Night of Leon: Leon is Noel spelled backward, so celebrate Christmas in June with a ride down a 60-foot snow slide, appearances by Santa Claus, face painting, live music and, wait for it, snow! It's 7 p.m. at Old Hyde Park Village, 1622 W Snow Ave., Tampa. $10 donation or an unwrapped new toy donation.

Friday Night Lights, 8 p.m., NBC: The Lions play the worst team in the league, which is basically telegraphing the Lions probably will lose somehow. Hey, there are life lessons to be learned.

Flashpoint, 9 p.m., CBS: A woman kidnaps her two children to keep her husband from getting custody. If this was Jesse James and one of his ex-wives, we'd think we were watching TMZ.

Miami Medical, 10 p.m., CBS: A giant sinkhole traps a construction worker underground.
