St. Pete Pride: Thousands in rainbow colors join floats and entertainers for the annual Promenade Parade and Street Festival, which kicks off today along Central Avenue in St. Petersburg. Headliners are singer-songwriter and actor Deborah Cox and comedian Christine O'Leary. After the parade, nearly 200 vendors from across the state will line Central Avenue between 21st and 28th streets. It's 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in St. Petersburg. Free. (727) 279-5428; stpetepride.com.

New Girl Bus Tour: The party bus that Jess borrowed for Schmidt's birthday stops in Tampa Bay this weekend. Fans of the Fox comedy can get a grab bag of gifts, play games inspired by episodes, and do a version of the show's opening theme song. The show's stars won't be there, but you can channel Zooey Deschanel with some thick-rimmed glasses, or ring hand bells in honor of Winston. Just don't let Schmidt catch you there without your driving moccasins. It'll stop at 2:30 p.m. at Whiskey Joe's Bar and Grill, 7720 W Courtney Campbell Parkway, Tampa; at 5:30 p.m. at Gaspar's Grotto, 1805 E Seventh Ave., Tampa; and at 9 p.m. at Peabody's Billiards, 15333 Amberly Drive, Tampa. Free. Check facebook.com/newgirlsummertour for updates.
