Things to do in Tampa Bay for Nov. 21

Get Roasted: Get sauced before you get stuffed at this annual Thanksgiving eve party thrown by the 13 Ugly Men. It's at 7 p.m. at Grand Central at Kennedy, 1120 E Kennedy Blvd., Tampa. $15.

Elf: The musical follows a young boy raised in the North Pole who doesn't know he's not an elf. It's at 7:30 p.m. at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa. $39.50; save $20 by donating a non-perishable food item. (813) 229-7827.

Thanksgiving Eve Party: Dance off some calories on the pool deck to music by DJ Ekin and DJ 5. The 21-and-up-only event starts at 8 p.m. and goes until 4 a.m. at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Tampa. Free before 11:30 p.m.; $5 women, $10 men after. (813) 627-7625.

Turkey Trot: Make room for the Thanksgiving feast Thursday with a run first thing in the morning. Races include the Wingding 5K (7 a.m.), the Fun Run 5K (7:30 a.m.), the Gobbler 1-miler (8:30 a.m.), and Turkey Trot 10K (8:45). Proceeds donated to local charities; non-perishable food items will be collected. Clearwater High School, 540 S Hercules Ave., Clearwater. $12-$25. (727) 562-4700.
