Tree lightings: It's the official kickoff of the Christmas season today. In Old Hyde Park in Tampa, the glow of a 30-foot tree will welcome Santa and a sing-along. Black Friday Art and Fashion Event: Vitale Studio and the Local 662 (662 Central Ave.) combine efforts for a show, sale and party with works by more than 50 local artists. It's free from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., $5 after 6 p.m. at 651 Central Ave., St. Petersburg.
Back to the Future 2010: Some of the most popular Tampa Bay bands of the '90s reunite with their fans at Jannus Live tonight. They include the Hazies, Freaks Rule, Dee Force and Men From Earth. It's 8 p.m. at 16 Second St. N, St. Petersburg. $15. (727) 565-0551. jannuslive.com.
Prince Poppycock: The glam opera singer who performed his brand of baroque pop on NBC's America's Got Talent does a show at 10 p.m. at the Honey Pot, 1507 E Seventh Ave., Tampa. Free before 10:30, $5 after.
KIDS AND FAMILY
Free Jump! Zone: Help Toys for Tots and get into Jump! Zone for free. Parents get one free kid's admission for each unwrapped toy they donate today. 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at 12402 Race Track Road, Tampa. (813) 925-1010.
TV's Funniest Holiday Moments: A Paley Center for Media Special, 8 p.m., Fox: Watch all these clips from favorite TV shows, since your own family doesn't produce enough memorable moments.
30 Holiday Decorating Hits & Misses, 8 p.m., HGTV: Make your home festive for the holidays. You may want to take down the Halloween decorations first.
SEASON FINALE, School Pride, 8 p.m., NBC: A school for the arts gets a makeover, despite the district wanting to cut the budget yet again. It's entirely possible the recent drop in funding for the arts is inversely related to the proliferation of awful reality shows on TV.
