Things to do in Tampa Bay for Oct. 6

Dragon Boats: Eighteen teams will compete in St. Petersburg's first dragon boat race in Bayboro Harbor. There will be a village in Poynter Park with seminars and demonstrations, plus food, beer garden and an awards ceremony with live music. Races begin at 8:30 a.m., village and vendors set up 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at USF St. Petersburg, 140 Seventh Ave. S, St. Petersburg. Free. (727) 492-4054.

Rock of Ages: The '80s musical about a wannabe rocker in love with a wannabe actress in the heyday of L.A's Sunset Strip has shows at 5 and 9 p.m. at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. $50-$70. (727) 791-7400.

Last Damn Show 14: Snoop Dogg and chart-topper Lupe Fiasco headline this annual concert of hot hip-hop and R&B artists. Also with Machine Gun Kelly, Pleasure P, Rita Ora and Kreayshawn. It's at 7:30 p.m. at Tampa Bay Times Forum in Tampa. $15-$110. (813) 301-2500.

Saturday Night Live, 11:30 p.m., NBC Daniel Craig hosts tonight, so he'll be forced to perform in at least one James Bond skit. Don't worry, 007 can handle anything.
