Things to do in Tampa Bay for Sept. 24

Blink 182 and My Chemical Romance: The reunited rockers headline with ambitious pop-punk group My Chemical Romance. Indie duo Matt and Kim open, at 7 p.m. at 1-800-ASK-GARY Amphitheatre in Tampa. $32-$83.50.

Free Museum Day: There's tons for art and history lovers today, from the Live Arts Festival at the St. Petersburg Museum of History to free entry to Cracker Country, Tampa Museum of Art, Tampa Bay History Center and the Dali Museum (Pinellas residents only). Tampa Food Truck Rally: Tampa Bay's growing food truck scene rolls into the Hyde Park Presbyterian Church parking lot. Most dishes under $10; some "tastes" for $1 to $2. It's 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1309 W Swann Ave., Tampa.

Walt Willey: Better known as Jackson Montgomery from All My Children, the actor has been a standup comedian for more than 15 years. Show is 6 p.m. at Side Splitters Comedy Club in Tampa. $20-$22.


$5 museum admission: You can get into MOSI today for $5, coinciding with national Museum Day, plus the Glazer Children's Museum has $5 admission for the rest of the month to celebrate its first birthday. The Museum of Science and Industry is 4801 E Fowler Ave., Tampa. The Glazer Children's Museum is at 110 W Gasparilla Plaza, Tampa.


SERIES PREMIERE The Nerdist, 10 p.m., BBC America: Chris Hardwick's podcast about all things geeky becomes a real show.
