Shooter Jennings: The son of Waylon Jennings has moved from outlaw country to the rock scene with Black Ribbons, made with his band Hierophant, and featuring narration by Stephen King. Bobby Lee Rodgers opens at 7 p.m. at State Theatre, 687 Central Ave., St. Petersburg. $20 at the door. (727) 895-3045.

Bucs' player autographs: We already liked Greg White when he legally changed his name to Stylez G. White after a character in Teen Wolf. Now you can get the Buccaneer's pawprint when the defensive end signs autographs and visits with fans to benefit the Better Us Foundation for underprivileged children. Line up from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Bucs & Bulls Heaven, 14823 N Florida Ave. The cost is $10 per autograph and $15 minimum store purchase. (813) 908-2827.

Jake Mackey Band: Soul, blues, rock and a touch of organ come with this gig at 8 p.m. at Skipper's Smokehouse, 910 Skipper Road, Tampa. $5. (813) 977-6474; skipperssmokehouse.com.

DATE NIGHT

Books & Brews: Who said the library isn't cool? This drinking and thinking library program for ages 21 and older is a new type of book group. The get-togethers feature bestsellers the first Tuesday of every month. It's free at 6 p.m. at the Oldsmar Tap House, 300 State St. E, Suite 107, Oldsmar. (813) 749-1178.

TO WATCH

My Trip to Al-Qaeda, 9 p.m., HBO: Pulitzer Prize winner Lawrence Wright's documentary tried to understand Islamic terrorism. When you figure it out, let us know.

SEASON PREMIERE, Sons of Anarchy, 10 p.m., FX: Jax deals with Abel's kidnapping while Gemma finds out some bizarre news from her past. Who knew she was the voice of Leela on Futurama?

SEASON PREMIERE, Rehab: Party at the Hard Rock Hotel, 10 p.m., TRUtv: You'd think the first rule of celebrities would be not to attend pool parties in Las Vegas.

SEASON FINALE, Louie, 11:30 p.m., FX: Louis C.K. decides to go out for the night. Hey, what could happen?

MORE TO EXPLORE

The Rays are at Boston, so that means there's a watch party with radio guy Rich Herrera at Ferg's in St. Pete. Get the details at tampabay.com/things-to-do.
