Date Night

Summer movies: Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach is the perfect setting for Johnny Depp and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl at 8 p.m. Friday. Free; concessions for sale. Then, frankly my dear, it's the epic Gone With the Wind (1939) with Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Tampa Theatre. $9; $7 for members.

Demetri Martin: With a quirky act that includes skits, artwork and music, Martin crafts comedy about palindromes, anagrams and visual perspective, often with the help of an oversized notepad. His show is 7 p.m. Saturday at the Straz Center in Tampa. Tickets start at $35. (813) 229-7827.
