Things to do in Tampa Bay for the week of Jan. 3

Wonderland: Since this show about a modern-day Alice premiered at the Straz Center in Tampa, it's gone through some changes. See the revamped version of Wonderland: A New Alice. A New Musical starting Wednesday before it heads to Broadway. $29.50-$135. (813) 229-7827 or toll-free 1-800-955-1045. Shows continue through Jan. 16.

Scheduled to read are Hollywood Squares regular Bruce Vilanch and Vincent Pastore from The Sopranos, among others. Shows start Tuesday and run through Saturday at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. $39.75. (727) 791-7400.

Kids and Family

Circus: The 141st edition of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus has all the traditional favorites — elephants, tigers, horses, the Human Fuse — with some updates for a new generation.
