Things to do in Tampa Bay for the week of Oct. 18

'Cocoon' 25th anniversary: Party like it's 1985, when the movie filmed in St. Petersburg was released. Celebration starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday with VIP reception with local stars involved in the film, drinks and hors d'oeuvres at the Princess Martha, St. Petersburg. $50. On Wednesday, dance in the Coliseum, just like in the movie, at 1 p.m. $7. At 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, play shuffleboard, see memorabilia and watch the film at Mirror Lake Shuffleboard Club. Free. Upper Tampa Bay Oktoberfest: You get waitress racing and keg hurling to go along with the usual German food and drink. Starts at 5 p.m. Friday and runs through Sunday at Tampa Bay Downs, Tampa. $5.
