Things to do in Tampa Bay for the week of Oct. 25

Carrie Underwood: She has killer pipes, a ton of awards and a new marriage to NHL star Mike Fisher. See country music's sweetheart at 7:30 tonight at the St. Pete Times Forum in Tampa. $32.75-$52.75. (813) 301-6500.

Pipe Screams: Bach's eerie Toccata and Fugue in D Minor and other works are played on a magnificent pipe organ at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Christ United Methodist Church, 467 First Ave. N, St. Petersburg. Free, but donations appreciated.

Pink and Blue for Two: Olivia Newton-John and Tampa's jazz saxophonist Eric Darius perform at this cancer awareness event at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Busch Gardens in Tampa. $75-$150. (813) 745-1505.

Guavaween 25th anniversary: Starting at 9 a.m. Saturday is the family portion with the cutie-patootie children's parade (free). But come evening, clear out the kids; it's party time. There's live music, costume contests and the Mama Guava Stumble Parade (still no motorized floats). $17. Downtown Ybor City.

Date Night

9 to 5: The Musical: The Broadway show based on the hit 1980 movie features music and lyrics by Dolly Parton. The national tour opens Tuesday and runs through Sunday at the Straz Center in Tampa. $38.50-$75.50. (813) 229-7827.

MGMT: The hip electro-pop band stops at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater at 8 p.m. Wednesday on its first tour of Florida. $25-$45. (727) 791-7400.

Florida Orchestra: Pops season opens with Time for Three — two violinists and a double bassist who play a funky mix ranging from bluegrass to Bach. Concerts are 8 p.m. Friday at the Straz in Tampa, 8 p.m. Saturday at the Mahaffey in St. Petersburg and 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. $20-$67. (727) 892-3337.

Kids and Family

Yo Gabba Gabba! Join DJ Lance Rock and the monster gang for what's been called a Flaming Lips concert for kids. The live tour of the Nick Jr. show has music, confetti cannons and, of course, a surprise guest. Shows are 2 and 5 p.m. Saturday at the St. Pete Times Forum, Tampa. $28.75-$48.75. (813) 301-6500.

Bark-o-Ween: Pucker up at the doggie kissing booth! Or enter one of the costume contests for "dog/owner look-alike" or "dog and child." It's 5 p.m. Thursday at O'Keefe's Family Tavern and Grille in Clearwater. $5 (no contests), $10 advance and $15 at the door if entering contests. (727) 446-7999.
