Things to do in Tampa Bay for the week of Sept. 20

More music: Hot country band Lady Antebellum is 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ruth Eckerd Hall, but the show is sold out, so good luck. Celebrity Apprentice winner and '80s hair metal bad boy Bret Michaels plays the Trop after the Rays game, which starts at 7:10 p.m. Saturday. Toll-free 1-888-326-7297. And the unstoppable country trio Rascal Flatts is at the 1-800-ASK-GARY Amphitheatre in Tampa at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. $51.75-$96.30. (813) 740-2446.

Date night

Parties: Two nights of intrigue, starting with the Masquerade: Masque dans le Miroir at 8 p.m. Friday at the Ritz Ybor. You must wear a mask — which comes off at midnight — for the party with restaurant samples, cocktails and live music. Benefits kids battling cancer. $75, $125 couples. (813) 247-2555. Starting at 7 p.m. Saturday is Tampa Theatre's annual movie-themed wine fest, Midnight in the Vineyard of Good and Evil. See tampatheatrewinefest.org for ticket options, including a wine pairing event Friday at Mise En Place.

Halloween: Get discounts Friday and Saturday for two Tampa haunted attractions. Family-friendly ZooBoo: Shriek Peek at Lowry Park Zoo is $10 ages 3 and older, starting at 7 p.m. (813) 935-8552. Ghoulish and gory Howl-O-Scream: Freaky Preview starts at 7:30 p.m. at Busch Gardens. Not recommended for small children. See www.howloscream.com/tampa for ticket options.

Kids and family

Sunset Cinema at Pier 60: Plop on Clearwater Beach at Pier 60 and watch free movies. On Friday, it's the PG-rated film Flipper, and Saturday is the PG-13 rated Bounty Hunter. Concessions will be for sale (no alcohol permitted), and shows start around dusk both nights. (727) 434-6060.
