Uncle Kracker: He was the DJ for Kid Rock through the '90s, but when he switched from rap-rock to laid-back twangy pop, he started racking up his own hits. (Follow Me, When the Sun Goes Down). See him at 7 p.m. at the State Theatre, 687 Central Ave. in St. Petersburg. $22. (727) 895-3045.

Fame: The Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School appropriately takes on the musical set in a high school for the performing arts. Show is 8 p.m. at 850 34th St. S, St. Petersburg. $20, $10 students.

Riverdance: The Irish step dancing show's 15th anniversary farewell tour continues at 8 p.m. at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. $50-$70. (727) 791-7400.

Kids and family

All ages swim lessons: The St. Pete Beach Community Center is offering swim lessons for children as young as 6 months. The two-week sessions take place four days a week for 30 minutes per class and cost $40 for nonresidents, $35 for residents for the eight lessons. Register at the pool at 7701 Boca Ciega Drive. (727) 363-9245.

To watch

SEASON FINALE, High Society, 9:30 p.m., CW: A sex scandal threatens Paula and Tommy's relationship.

SERIES PREMIERE, Sunset Daze, 10 p.m., WEtv: Here's yet another reality series, this one set in a retirement community in Arizona.

SERIES PREMIERE, Happy Town, 10 p.m., ABC: Don't spoil it for us, but we get the feeling the title of this new drama starring Geoff Stults and Sam Neill may — just may — be ironic.
