Things to do in the Tampa Bay area for April 10

Bark at the Ball Park IV: Take your pooch out to a ball game. See the Clearwater Threshers take on the Dunedin Blue Jays, check out adoptable pets, buy pet-friendly raffle baskets and take part in a postgame run of the bases. Tampa Bay Blues Fest: It's "Celebrate New Orleans Day" with a stellar lineup including Trombone Shorty, Irma Thomas, and Tab Benoit and the Voice of the Wetlands All-Stars. It starts at 1 p.m.; $30, cash only at Vinoy Park, 501 Fifth Ave. NE, St. Petersburg

Bad in the Bay party: Crabby Bill's brings a dark element to the beach scene with a party on the Courtney Campbell featuring stars of the Bad Girls Club from noon to 7 p.m. Amber Meade of Season 3 and Nikki Galladay of the current season will be there, and they will be handing out free swimsuits, while supplies last, compliments of N.V. Pleasantly Puzzled: Puzzle whizzes get a day of indulgence when crossword constructor Merl Reagle comes to the Henry B. Plant Museum. He will develop seven-word puzzles with Tampa Bay Hotel and Tampa Bay themes from 1 to 4 p.m. at the museum, 401 W Kennedy Blvd. The event also includes jigsaws, a Q&A, refreshments and copies of Reagle's books available for purchase. Free.
