Metrocon: Keep an eye out for costumed convention-goers downtown, at all hours, this weekend. Metrocon, Florida's largest anime convention, is coming to the Tampa Convention Center. Flugtag Fun: Costumed teams of five will push, pull and throw their homemade flying crafts off a 30-foot barge into the brackish waters of the Hillsborough River on Saturday. The crews will be judged on the distance of their flight, the creativity of their craft and showmanship. Organizers expect up to 60,000 people to line the shore, and boat traffic is encouraged.
