The Hush Sound Considered one of indie pop's best-kept secrets, this Chicago quartet is touring with The Cab, Steel Train and Morning Light. They play tonight at the State Theatre, 687 Central Ave., St. Petersburg. $15.

Embedded Tonight is the opening for this political satire written by Oscar-winner Tim Robbins. The actors wear masks modeled on Dick Cheney, Karl Rove, Condoleezza Rice and others in the Bush administration, and the play also features soldiers and embedded journalists.
