What to do today
Grillin' & Chillin' Leave it to SideBerns to take barbecue to new heights. As the last of the restaurant's summer patio barbecue series, you won't get another chance for a feast like this. This time around, they've invited Oregon's Full Sail Brewery to pair its beers with barbecued organic poussin, black truffle potato salad and peach cobbler. 7 to 9 tonight at 2208 W Morrison Ave., Tampa. $45. (813) 258-2233. bernsfinewines.com.
Jonas Brothers Parents, be sure to bring your ear plugs to this concert. The insatiable screams of teeny-bopper girls will leave your ears ringing. The Jonas Brothers are the heartthrob flavor of the month. The latest single, A Little Bit Longer is to be released on iTunes Friday. 7 tonight at the Ford Amphitheatre, Interstate 4 at U.S. 301 N, Tampa. $25-$79.50. (813) 740-2446. www.livenation.com.
Dali & Beyond Film Series: 'Carmen' You may be familiar with the story of Carmen in Bizet's opera, but Carlos Saura's 1983 film adaptation blurs the line between fiction and reality as the flamenco dancing tears up the stage. It's part of the Dali Museum's ongoing "Women: Dali's View" exhibit. 6 p.m. today at the museum, 1000 Third St. S, St. Petersburg. The film is included with admission, which is $5 after 5 p.m. every Thursday. (727) 823-3767. salvadordalimuseum.org.
