Trout Fishing in America Borrow a kid if you don't have one to go see the good-time guys of Trout Fishing in America, who play infectious indie folk-rock with a strong sense of humor. Sarasota Film Festival Oscar nominee William H. Macy will show his local investors what they got when he screens his Hollywood satire The Deal on Friday, the opening night of the 10-day festival of more than 200 films. The gala is at 7 at Van Wezel Hall; multi-film passes available. Special events range from free symposiums to a $300 closing-night gala. Actors scheduled to attend include Charlize Theron, Liv Ullmann, Stanley Tucci, William H. Macy and Steve Buscemi.
