What to do today

Honky Tonk Hustlas: The headliners from Montgomery, Ala., say they get down and dirty with their funky blues-rock, but can they be as awesome as their name? Skull and Bone Band will rock you all swampy Southern-like with a metal and punk backstroke. Blind Buddy is a local blues hero. It's mandatory you see him at least once. 9 p.m. Dave's Aqua Lounge, 10820 Gandy Blvd., St. Petersburg. $6. (727) 576-1091.

Hunks for the Holidays: World Famous Chippendales: These guys sure look good in a bow tie — and not much else. The famous show is not just another strip tease, it's a full Broadwaystyle show with costumes and choreography. There are two shows, so if once isn't enough, you're in luck. 7 and 9:30 p.m. Side Splitters Comedy Club, 12938 N Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. $20-$42. (813) 960-1197. sidesplitterscomedy.com.

Winter Concert: Endless repetitive Christmas carols already getting under your skin? Why not enjoy some free holiday sophistication? The University of Tampa's musical theater ensemble, OPUS, performs medleys from Les Misérables and Ragtime, a chorus about debauchery from the show Opera Buffet, O Holy Night (with soprano soloist Hein Jung), and numbers from Broadway shows. In Fletcher Lounge. 7:30 p.m. Plant Hall at University of Tampa, 401 W Kennedy Blvd., Tampa. Free. (813) 253-6212.

Digital Photography and Editing Seminar: Got a new digital camera in the past year and still haven't learned what all those buttons and knobs do? Here's your chance to learn the best way to make, download and edit digital photos before the holidays. That way you'll be able to get even better shots of the kids that'll embarrass them when they're older! 3 p.m. Tarpon Springs Public Library, 138 E Lemon St., Tarpon Springs. Free. Call library to register. (727) 943-4922.

And that's not all! For the low, low price of free, you can enjoy searching through more than 80 things to do today at entertainment.tampabay.com as our special gift to you.

What to watch for

Wednesday: Get a head start working your way onto Santa's naughty list at the Holiday Ale Festival at New World Brewery.

Thursday: Set sail for the Tampa Bay Boat Show and Strictly Sail at the Mahaffey Theater Yacht Basin in St. Petersburg for four days of ship-shape fun and puns.
