Things to do today

St. Patrick's Day Don't pinch me, bro, we're wearing green today! And so is Tampa's Garrison Channel. You can see it up close on Yacht StarShip's St. Patty's Day cruise starting at 5:45 p.m. ($39.95 at yachtstarship.com or (813) 223-7999), but you can also see the environmentally friendly dye job from Channelside. Other parties include Dunedin's St. Patrick's Day Street Festival on Main Street, the huge tent party at O'Keefe's Tavern in Clearwater and the Dubliner Irish Pub in Citrus Park. For a list, see tampabay.com/thingstodo.

Craig Ferguson See what you've been missing with that early bedtime — one of the funniest men on late-night TV. The Late Late Show host performs at 8 p.m. at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater. $29.50-$69.50. (727) 791-7400; rutheckerdhall.com.

Tea Leaf Green The four-piece jam band from San Francisco is known for rabid fans and a great live show, video of which is swapped on YouTube. See them at 7 p.m. at the State Theatre, 687 Central Ave., St. Petersburg. $15. (727) 895-3045.

Cavalia This unique theatrical experience, which runs through March 28 at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, has been described as "Cirque du Soleil with horses." That's accurate, but doesn't do justice to its elegance and astounding athleticism — or the gorgeous horses. Tonight's show is 8, and adult tickets start at $44.50, plus service charges, with discounts for children and seniors; 1-866-999-8111, cavalia.net.
