Live Music Series Hyde Park Village brings back its monthly nudge to get out and soak up a little music and South Tampa ambiance with its family-friendly concerts. The summer series kicks off tonight showcasing the band Shout. Proceeds made from beverage sales will help to benefit the Epilepsy Services Inc. It starts at 6 p.m. and is free at the shopping district at Swann and Dakota avenues.

Hip-Hop Meets Ballet Just saying it out loud makes us smile, but this really is a show, now in its sixth year, performing Sunday at Mahaffey Theater in St. Petersburg. Taste of Pinellas The annual food and music festival returns from Friday to Sunday with tastes from 40 local restaurants, a beer garden, Kid Zone, ice sculpture contest and fireworks (on Saturday) at Vinoy Park, 501 5th Ave. NE, St. Petersburg.
