What to do

The Bull Session Radio Show with Jim Leavitt This week's radio show with USF coach Jim Leavitt will air live from Moe's Southwest Grill in New Tampa tonight. You might not get to ask coach a question yourself, but you will have a chance at winning one of 50 tickets to Saturday's game against Kansas at RayJay. With so much excitement surrounding the team this year, this might be your only way of getting into the game. If not, you can still score some free food, some sweet giveaways and high-five Rocky the Bull. 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, Moe's Southwest Grill, 17509 Preserve Walk Lane, Tampa. Free.

Bustin' Down the Door If you've ever found yourself lacking inspiration while paddling out in a gulf-coast break, you won't want to miss this film. It was winter 1975 when surfing was shaken to its core. A group of young surfers from Australia and South Africa arrived in Hawaii to usher in a new age of surfing. Now their story is considered one of the greatest surf documentaries ever made. 7:30 tonight, Beach Theatre, 315 Corey Avenue, St. Pete Beach. $7 for adults, $5 for children, students, seniors, and active military. bustindownthedoor.com.

Chris Isaak The sultry crooner may be spending more time on his acting chops than his music these days, but he's still bringing his perfect pompadour and trademark Gibson guitar to town in concert. It's hard not to like a guy who casts himself in his videos rolling around on the beach with supermodels. 8 tonight, Ruth Eckerd Hall, 1111 McMullen-Booth Road, Clearwater. $39.50-$50. (727) 791-7400. rutheckerdhall.com.

Stand-Up Fly Away Open Mic Competition — Round No. 5 If you've ever watched Last Comic Standing you know comedians don't have to be a household name to be really funny. They have to get their start somewhere, and the top amateur comedians will get the last laugh as they compete for a spot in future comedy shows and maybe even stardom. Then you can rub it in your friends' faces that you saw them "way-back-when." 8:30 p.m. tonight, Side Splitters Comedy Club, 12938 N Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa. $10. (813) 960-1197. sidesplitterscomedy.com.
