Tickets available for Gwen Ifill PBS show taping

The public can sit in while veteran PBS journalist Gwen Ifill tapes her show, Washington Week, at the Palladium in St. Petersburg on Aug. 24 — the Friday before the Republican National Convention arrives in Tampa. A limited number of free tickets are available online at wedu.org/washingtonweek or by calling (813) 739-2909. Washington Week producers request that all guests be in their seats no later than 3 p.m. Ifill is moderator and managing editor of Washington Week, a roundtable discussion show with Washington-based journalists. She is also senior correspondent for the PBS NewsHour, and the best-selling author of The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama.
