Humorist and Time magazine columnist Joel Stein is bringing his book tour — and food trucks — to promote his book Man Made: A Stupid Quest for Masculinity. In his quest to learn to be a man before the birth of his son, Stein writes about working with firefighters, how he learned to hunt, driving a sports car and going to boot camp. He has teamed up with Stark Raving to promote his book and their wine, so this book stop includes a vote for your favorite street food and wine pairing. Each food truck is invited to create a dish that either pairs well with one of the wines or includes the wine in the dish. Food trucks include Maggie on the Move, Tasty Stacy, Two Asians & a Grill and Wicked 'Wiches. There will be a meet-and-greet and book signing with the author Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hyde Park Village, 1602 S Snow Ave. in Tampa, plus entertainment. Must be 21 or older. Donations encouraged to Meals on Wheels Tampa. Email RSVP to StarkRavingTampaRSVP@TaylorStrategy.com. — Sharon Kennedy Wynne
