Friday Night Rewind It doesn't matter which team you cheer for. We've got video previews of every high school football program in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Hernando County.
Want to look like this? Skip the pizza after clubbing!
Gay women want her. So do a lot of straight women. And those who don't want Jackie Warner still want her rock-hard abs.
Warner, 39, is the star of Bravo's Work Out, a reality show that follows her as she oversees a brood of trainers at her Beverly Hills gym while juggling a relationship with live-in girlfriend Brianna.
Today, Warner will be at Ybor City's Honey Pot to sign autographs and take photos with fans.
Warner insists that it is possible to party without letting yourself go. Just in time for the holiday weekend, in a call from her Los Angeles office, she explained how.
Exercise for real. If you consume three drinks at 350 calories each — and that's a modest estimate — then you've downed 1,050 calories over the course of the evening. "You're not going to ever dance off (that) many calories," Warner said. For a truly hot bod, do an hour of resistance training three times a week. To stay motivated, Warner loads her iPod with progressive music including Radiohead and Bjork.
Eat right during the week. "People can't party all through the week and indulge all through the week and then want to look hot for the club. It's not going to work," Warner said. Avoid sugar and fried foods Monday through Friday, and you can have the occasional treat on weekends.
Fuel up. Before hitting the club, eat a high-protein meal that'll sustain you into the wee hours, like a big salad topped with lean meat. Avoid breads.
Hydrate. Alcohol dehydrates you, so load up on water before heading to the bar.
Drink smart. Avoid calorie-packed vodka-juice cocktails and other blended drinks, including margaritas and mojitos.
Sleep it off. When the clubs let out, skip the late-night pizza and go straight to bed. "Wait 'til the next morning when you're clearer-headed," Warner said. Then have a respectable breakfast, like a vegetable omelet or fruit plate.
Boost your confidence. "Self-esteem comes from setting up challenges for yourself and completing them," Warner said.
If your goal is fitness, then break it into small, achievable steps and set yourself up for success: Surround yourself with supportive loved ones and banish junk food from the house.
