1The Green Iguana: Electronic music fanatic John Santoro loved bringing in top DJs when he owned Club Hedo and the Amphitheatre in Ybor City. Now he runs Sunset Promotions, which stages world-class DJ concerts at the local chain's Anderson and West Shore locations. Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, Armin Van Buuren, Samantha Ronson and the Crystal Method have all played there. Five locations around Tampa Bay; see greeniguana.com for details.
2Prana: Consistently one of Ybor City's most packed nightclubs, Prana offers five levels of dance floors, from hip-hop on the ground floor to house in the middle to reggae and live music on the roof. 1619 E Seventh Ave., Ybor City. (813) 241-4139; clubprana.com.
3Czar: Most of the week, this Ybor City vodka bar is the domain of indie-rock-loving scenesters. But on Fridays, Czar's Pulp the Party draws remix-crazed party people from all over Central Florida, not to mention top DJs like Girl Talk, Diplo, Switch and BT. 1420 E Seventh Ave., Ybor City. 4Floyd's: When we say the party never stops at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino's signature nightclub, we mean it. Last call isn't until 6 a.m. That means all the clubgoers who aren't yet sleepy migrate to the casino after 3 a.m., and DJs Santana, Kidd Leow and the occasional guest artist — DJ AM, Dirty Vegas, even will.i.am stopped by during the Super Bowl — always have things hot when they arrive. 5223 N Orient Road, Tampa. (866) 502-7529; seminolehardrocktampa.com.
5Push Ultra Lounge: In May, Push booked Good Charlotte's Benji Madden as a guest DJ, hoping then-girlfriend Paris Hilton might show up with him. It worked, and Push, a rooftop bar above the increasingly trendy Red Mesa Cantina, has been on partiers' radars ever since. They've gone populist in recent months, with "Recession Sundays" featuring half-price covers for all. 128 Third St. S, St. Petersburg. myspace.com/pushultralounge; (727) 871-7874.
