Chocolate Walnut Puffs
1 (6-ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
2 egg whites
⅛ teaspoon salt
½ cup granulated sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon vinegar
¾ cup chopped walnuts
Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler over hot (not boiling) water. In a mixing bowl, beat egg whites with salt until foamy. Gradually add sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Beat in vanilla and vinegar. Fold in melted chocolate and walnuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets immediately.
Freezeworthy: Yes, but cool completely first.
