Tampa loves food trucks. • More than 3,000 people showed up for Tampa's first food truck rally in Hyde Park in September. Some waited well more than an hour for food ranging from crab bisque to deep-fried Monte Cristos to jalapeno cheese bites, at prices around $10. • Seriously. • So it's no surprise a second rally is on the way Saturday. This time Tasting Tampa and web design firm 352 Media will have nearly 30 trucks, plus live music, at Christ Fellowship of Tampa, 300 E Sligh Ave. • It starts at 11 a.m. Organizers suggest you arrive early.
