TAMPA — Round 5 of the third annual Epic Chef Showdown to benefit Feeding Tampa Bay is Monday night, and you can watch it live right here.
Epic Chef Showdown is a seven-week competition pitting eight of the Tampa Bay area's top restaurants against each other in a friendly cooking competition judged by a panel of local celebrities. The competition is hosted by the Epicurean Hotel and helps the group Feeding Tampa Bay, the largest food rescue and distribution organization in the community.
Each week, two chefs will receive a mystery box of ingredients not commonly prepared together. They will be challenged to create two dishes before time runs out. Each dish will be judged and one restaurant will be eliminated, with the winner moving on to the next round.
Chef Jeff Thornsberry from Locale Market / FarmTable Kitchen competes tonight against Chef Paul Boucher from Mise En Place for a spot in the finals.
Live coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
