Area venues will be party central when RNC rolls into Tampa

THE PARTIES

Area venues have been booked for official and unofficial RNC events, which are closed to the public. Here is a partial list of events. Many downtown Tampa, Ybor City and Channelside venues will close their doors to the public entirely during the convention, so call ahead.

Tampa Museum of Art (downtown Tampa): Google, Yahoo, National Journal and Americans for the Arts evening events. Open to the public for the duration of convention.

Florida Aquarium: Closed to the public and booked for the duration, but not disclosing to whom. (Also, the 150-passenger Bay Spirit II is booked.)
