Itinerant chef Jeannie Pierola will take her moveable feast to BT's in Tampa for 20 nights between Aug. 2 and 28. Pierola, former executive chef of Bern's Steak House and SideBern's, has embraced the national phenomenon of the "pop up" dining experience, building her guerrilla restaurant "Kitchenbar" first in Pinky's Diner on Bay to Bay Boulevard, then on Chefs on the Loose also on Bay to Bay, and now in B.T. Nguyen's newest restaurant location.
Nguyen is spending the month abroad, leaving her kitchen available to Pierola to craft her brand of modern world cuisine for pop-up fans. For this installment of Kitchenbar, Amy Cairns (former wine director of SideBern's and cheese sommelier at Bern's Steak House) will marry the menu with a selection of wines.
